The parties involved took a program that initially stood for good intentions and abused that system for self gain to the point where the program itself was irreparably damaged. If anyone is responsible for the collateral damage it lies squarely at the feet of the abusers that corrupted the program, not those who exposed them.
Love your channel, but ... if you're posting (sources noted) that Madonna is a better "musician" than Yo-Yo Ma ... you might want to reexamine the difference between "musician", "artist", "performer" and "celebrity".
It's somewhat like saying Michael Jordan was the best shoemaker in history. Sure, he sold a lot of shoes, but I doubt he actually crafted them.
@disheartened_gy@JeremyClarkson When Steven Spielberg was asked why he didn't take the offer to direct the Lord Of The Rings franchise, his response was: "The days of me depositing a billion dollars into someone else's bank account are long past".
@stats_feed Not to be too technical, but "musician" is not a catch-all term. Musical or Performing Artist would be more appropriate for this stat. (I've never seen Mariah Carey play an instrument on stage, nor Frank Sinatra)
The research I conducted, although dated (9 years now), shows that Utah was the best state to send your kids to public schools, Idaho was second followed by Arizona, Oklahoma and North Carolina. I'm doubting those numbers have changed much...even in 10 years. Most people argue between what the greatest cost increases are, but in the districts I researched, it wasn't the teachers nor the administrators ... it was the benefits that exploded budgets.
