Conflict with students - this can happen with high expectations for all.

Students saying they hate Mr X - Mr X could just have high expectations for all students but be an excellent teacher, children can react to this in the moment with frustration, eg. 'I hate Mr X'.

A period where the relationship with a whole class appears from the outside to be breaking down - The teacher may know this, is in control, battling, and will 'reset' or is planning to find a way through it. If class behaviour is incredibly poor, that needs challenging, this will undoubtedly lead to some period of 'unrest'.

Don't appear to be super best mates with kids - good relationships can be built on business like mutual respect and really good teaching, quietly going about it. See what happens when these teachers leave a school after a period of years.
