The body of five-year-old Jamal Shafiq, a resident of Balakot, who was killed in the October 8, 2005, earthquake, was found 21 years later during the excavation work for the reconstruction of the house where he had resided.
Jamal Shafiq, son of Qari Shafiqur Rehman, was killed after being buried under the house in the October 8, 2005, earthquake. The search for his dead body continued for many years after his death but was unsuccessful. His body was found on Monday during the excavation work for the reconstruction of the house.
Jamal’s father, Qari Shafiqur Rehman, said that they had searched for the child’s body in the rubble of their house for several months before giving up. Excavation work had been started for the reconstruction of the same house on Monday.
As the workmen dug through the rubble during the excavation, they first saw the child’s clothes. They hastened to remove the rubble and uncovered the child’s body.
Mahrang Baloch should not be in prison. Women and girls in Balochistan have suffered for years as their male family members were routinely arrested and forcibly disappeared. They deserve the life that everyone deserves: daughters who can go to school, fathers who come home at night.
I stand with my sisters in Pakistan who face harassment and abuse, who are imprisoned for speaking out. This is not new — throughout our history women like Asma Jahangir, Farida Shaheed, Khawar Mumtaz, Hina Jilani and even Fatima Jinnah suffered persecution for standing up. Today, it is Imaan Mazari and Mahrang Baloch.
Rather than addressing the horror of forced disappearances, the anti-terrorism court is targeting those who speak out against the oppression. Mahrang and her fellow activists must be released.
Looks like the ceasefire between Iran and America is dead. America attacked Iran and Iran responded back by carrying successful attacks on the America military base in Kuwait and The United States Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
The Zionist agenda succeeds, it seems.
No Surprises Here.
A Scottish fan chanted, "Free Palestine."
"I was a nurse in Gaza. I volunteered in Gaza. I’ve seen what happens. There is a genocide. Free Palestine."
She's a hero.
Delivered by C‑section from her dead mother's body. 23 years old. 'israel' bombed and killed her. Buried them under rubble. The baby girl was named after her. Doctors gave her a 50/50 chance of survival. She died 5 days later and was buried next to her mum.
