I spent thousands of nights and hundreds of thousands of dollars with Marriott.
Ambassador Elite. Lifetime status. Years of loyalty. Built everything in one ecosystem.
A few weeks ago, my account was shut down overnight by their Risk team.
No warning. No clear explanation. No response to multiple escalations.
I’ve already said I’ll fix anything immediately:
- Pay any outstanding balances
- Forfeit any ineligible points
- Fully comply going forward
Still no response.
How does Marriott do this to one of the highest value members?

These days, we’re always looking beyond - into new worlds, new tech, new intelligence. But then you stand under a sky like this, and remember how much magic still surrounds us.
A sky dancing with color. A moon carved by time, still watching. A mountaintop catching the last breath of light.
There’s beauty in moments of feeling small, quiet, and completely alive.
Saw @TimJDillon at @comedymothrship a few days ago. Hilarious as always, but man- how does the guy exposing the lies of Big Food, Big Pharma, society's lies, have skin that look like it's sponsored by Monsanto? How could you let seed oils and McNuggets win?
Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt recently claimed at Stanford: "Google decided that work-life balance and going home early and working from home was more important than winning. And the reason startups work is because the people work like hell".
What a misguided take on remote work. So people should "work like hell" and slave away their lives for a company that has no issues discarding them without a second thought? Do employees really need to stress so much about which company wins the AI race, so that a few people at the top reap most of the rewards? That's absurd.
There’s no evidence that sitting in an office all day equates to ‘hard’ work. Google’s challenges run far deeper than this oversimplified narrative.
What are your thoughts?
