The butterfly tooth! Case of the week referred to me to treat this challenging upper left second molar. The CBCT revealed the butterfly tooth that has no manual to treat other than the CBCT guidance. At the distal root there was a 1-2 anatomy and I managed to fracture my orifice

BTR lasso and the perforation site was sterilised. Palatal root was obturated with MTA. The rest with ZOE and CWC. Single visit #brokenfileremoval #retreatment #mtaobturation #endodontic #rootcanal

Non surgical retreatment here of a symptomatic UR6 with a broken file wedged in the palatal canal and missed MB2. They had attempted to remove that file or bypass it which had led to perforation at the last 2-3 mm of the palatal root. The Broken fragment was removed with a BTR

Dynamic navigation surgery 46 under robot Eva from #navident and 3 months healing

Bypass achieved with Hyflex EDM and D finders. Single visit. Case will be reviewed one week if still symptomatic a surgical approach under dynamic navigation #navident will be planned for the Apicectomy and the removal of the broken file from the radix entomolaris. #coltene

Referral after separated file on a radix entomolaris. CBCT revealed that fractured file was inside the sharply curved narrow root and not outside in bone. A decision was made to attempt bypassing the fragment and communicating with lesion in a non surgical approach.
