Newport County Radio Club is the largest Amateur Radio Club in the state of Rhode Island. Formed in 1945, the club supports many on-air and community events.

One of the towers, sporting a directional "yagi" antenna is now up. The North American event begins Saturday 2PM and runs through Sunday 2PM. In recent years, the Newport County Radio Club has often scored #2 in North America in its operating class.

Starting Day 3. The All Saints STEAM Academy balloon made it through night #2 and has passed Labrador at 13,100 feet. It's now over the North Atlantic. Its signal is now being heard by stations in Iceland and France.
