The founder funnel is a core part of any Web3 Marketing strategy and should be crucial for any founders/core team members building in Web3.
Listen to Ariane as she speaks on founder branding and the importance of clear comms from the beginning.
We already know that founders/core team members are the heart of any marketing strategy, but sadly not enough are rolling up their sleeves and showing their faces on CT.
If you’re building something you genuinely care about, here’s what I suggest you do:
- block out 1-2h daily for scrolling through X, engaging with your community, and being a relentless replyguy. It’s your chance to connect with those who believe in you.
- be radically transparent. People respect honesty, especially in an industry built on trust and innovation.
- tweet like your project depends on it (it kinda does). Consistent presence matters, and it matters a lot.
- remind yourself daily why you’re building this and who it’s for. Anchoring to that purpose will keep you focused, especially when things get tough.
- be loud and fight for your vision. This industry was created to challenge the status quo—make it clear what you’re fighting for and go all in. The best voices in the industry are usually the loudest.
- show up for your team and community. Be visible and vocal, your energy is contagious and will drive people to rally behind your mission.
- celebrate the small wins and big lessons. Acknowledge progress, even if it’s incremental. Share those moments with your community—they’re invested in your journey too.
I often get asked if founders can outsource their CT posting. To which I respond: marketers can help polish your presence yes (and help with content and writing too), but the voice needs to be yours. You’re the one with the vision, and that’s what your community will connect with.
Building a movement is tough, but it’s non-negotiable—especially in Web3. Those days when founders could just focus on product and leave the rest to a team are long gone (think Elon). Your passion, vision, and belief make up the core story of your project. You are the movement’s evangelist, and your story is the product.

and about tokens: take your time, don't launch until you have pmf. Nail down what works first. Really understand who you're serving and do constant user research (the number of times I've encountered projects doing zero or none of it at all is shocking).
TY @W3Morg for having me and capturing this. Had a blast speaking at @TuesDAOeth
