I experimented today with a 9:1 alligator clipped to chain link fence with a 17 foot counterpoise. Made 15 QSOs, activated with the fence then switched to vertical for a total of 83 QSOs today. I was at William Randolph Hearst Memorial State Beach US-6448. 73 de W6OBB #POTA

Activated US-6448, William Randolph Hearst Memorial State Beach today while testing the Chameleon CHA SS17 and the Chameleon Carbon Fiber Tripod. I used Five 11 1/2 foot ground radials. It worked great, 20 through 10 Meters. Got a little DX thanks to the contest. My 295th time.
