This multimillionaire RAF beneficiary from Vosloorus, who once struggled to get a girlfriend from his own street, reportedly pulled up at Nando's like a whole government minister.

South African Advocate Moafrika Wa Maila has claimed he was confronted in Pretoria today by two Zulu men who demanded to see his ID after suspecting he was a foreign national.
On 25 January 1980 three MK Cadres – Stephen/Fanie Mafoko, Humphrey Makhubo and Wilfred Madela – were allegedly on their way to carry out a planned MK sabotage mission on petrol depots at Watloo near Mamelodi. En route, ‘the Trio’ realised they were being tailed by the police. In an attempt to escape, they took refuge in a branch of Volkskas Bank in Silverton, Pretoria. They held 25 civilians in the bank hostage, making a number of demands, including a meeting with State President Vorster, the release of Nelson Mandela and a man called Mange, as well as R100 000 in cash and an aircraft to fly them to Maputo. After a series of negotiations, which included the police handing food over to the cadres and hostages, a police unit stormed the bank and all three cadres were killed by the police. Two civilians, Valerie Anderson and Anna de Klerk, were killed and many others were wounded in the shootout. Source: International Institute of Social History Collection
South Africa 🇿🇦 has firmly rejected calls to pay compensation to Nigerian nationals 🇳🇬 who left properties behind during recent anti-immigration protests.
Minister Khumbudzo Ntshavheni said the government will not make any compensation payments.
She said people who legally own registered assets, including houses, cars, and businesses, are free to sell them through the normal market.
The government is not responsible for losses linked to people leaving out of fear, while informal or illegally occupied properties do not qualify for compensation.
The issue comes as Nigeria continues to seek compensation through diplomatic channels for assets reportedly left behind by its citizens.
