What Went Wrong?
Pakistan T 20 Cricket
Sarfraz Ahmed was appointed T20I captain in April 2016, taking over from Shahid Afridi following a disappointing 2016 World T20 campaign.
During his captaincy, Sarfraz captained Pakistan in 37 T20Is, securing 29 victories and suffering only 8 defeats, which amounts to a win rate of approximately 78%, one of the highest in T20 history for any ICC team.
Under his captaincy, Pakistan achieved 11 consecutive bilateral T20I series wins, including whitewash victories against strong sides such as the West Indies, Australia, New Zealand, England, and Zimbabwe.
Furthermore, during Sarfraz’s tenure, Pakistan rose to the number one position in the ICC T20I rankings around November 2017, maintaining that top spot into early 2018 and holding it for a cumulative period of approximately 57 days.
However, his removal from the captaincy on political grounds, and the subsequent appointment of Babar Azam — who, despite being an exceptional and generational batsman, lacked the tactical and strategic acumen required for leadership — proved to be a grave error. Unfortunately, Babar struggled with self-confidence and failed to reflect on his loss of form, which compounded the issues.
When merit is undermined and unjust decisions are made, the consequences are inevitable. Pakistan has suffered as a result, having arguably wasted three to four peak years by removing Sarfraz Ahmed from the helm.

The clash was never Islam versus the West. It is ignorance versus truth.
Islam gave the world algebra, medicine, philosophy, and poetry while Europe was in the Dark Ages. Today, millions of Muslims live and thrive in the West as doctors, scientists, artists, and citizens helping build its future.
Cities like Dubai and the evolving Saudi Arabia prove peaceful coexistence is not just possible, it is already happening. The old narrative is outdated. Time to move on.
It’s honestly sad to see an artist with such a big platform choosing hate over harmony. Pakistani fans have supported B Praak’s music for years. spreading division only damages the love and unity music is meant to create. We should be building bridges, not burning them.
@AskPlayStation Unacceptable lack of communication. We pay for your services. Many people make plans to play together on the weekend. You have allowed a disruption in services we pay for and plan for, without communication with us about what is happening. Reimbursement would be the thing to do.
Congratulations to Pakistan's Olympic flag bearer Arshad Nadeem for an absolute brilliant javelin performance winning a gold medal for Pakistan.
His persistence & perseverance has done him & the nation proud. It is the first time any Pakistani has won an individual gold for athletics in the Olympics. He is an inspiration for our younger generation.
