The West Africa Capital Market Conference- the forum for discussing important issues relating to the orderly growth and development of the regional markets
It's almost time for the biggest capital market conference in West Africa and the largest gathering of policymakers, regulators, DFIs, deal makers, brokers, and all capital market stakeholders. It's #wacmac23 the #Nigerianedition. #watchthisspace#capitalmarkets#ECOWAS
I was honored to be the Special Guest of Honour at the 3rd West Africa Capital Markets Conference today. The conference focused on the theme "Infrastructure Deficit and Sustainable Financing in an Integrated West Africa Capital Market".
During my speech, I emphasized the significant inadequacy of modern infrastructure such as roads, rails, ports, fiber-optics, housing, power, and more across the West African sub-region. These ongoing deficiencies have been a major obstacle to the economic growth of nations and the well-being of their people.
I urged all the stakeholders present to engage in meaningful discussions and explore innovative financial strategies that can help bridge the infrastructure gap. By doing so, we can enhance the lives of our citizens and propel our economies to new heights.
Registration is now open for the 3rd West Africa Capital Market Conference. This year's conference features policymakers, capital market experts and sessions on regional bonds, de-risking investments in infrastructure projects, and much more. Register at https://t.co/86bkAvLz0x
