@Dr_Afo Nothing beats being successful with a patient's surgery, either minor or major; it gives you an unexplainable sense of accomplishment, and it makes patients regard us as superheroes.
One thing you should never do is belittling a token some sent to you as a gift no matter how small it is. I know from the bottom of his heart, it was solely meant to make you feel "yeah, this is a gift and I genuinely appreciate it" not to water-down his little effort.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi Raji'un.
Salam Alaykum, Family. If this ever comes across your radar, please pray for my father.
He died today and has been buried in accordance with Shariah.
Jazakallahu khairan.
@sportsurgeonng He does not want to break a bone for a living, sir; this is how I address my uncle, who is an orthopedic surgeon too. I don't envy anything in that department, including my colleagues 🤣🤣🤣.
@Maphix2@itz_Dreyy@justmercy__ Not everyone can deal with the harsh realities of life. The difference between us and Westerners is wide. Their doctors don't sugarcoat the patient's prognosis. This provides a lot of family closeness. But, as Nigerians, we prefer to live in denial.
