Today, my wife & I joined Donald Trump’s hit list. He has directed his Department of Justice to investigate us. They have not found a crime - they are simply trying to find one.

There's no silver bullet solution to the climate crisis--we need to use all of the tools in our toolbox. One of those tools is carbon capture and storage, which injects carbon dioxide deep underground.

Secretary @WadeCrowfoot recently visited Carbon TerraVault I, a first-of-its-kind carbon capture and storage project that will help advance California’s progress toward carbon neutrality. The project is the first operational carbon capture and storage project in California.

London Underground station flooding has reportedly been reduced by around 90% thanks to a group of engineers: beavers.

After conservationists reintroduced a family of beavers into a nearby city park, the animals built dams and restored wetlands that now absorb and slow floodwater naturally.

Authorities had planned major man-made flood infrastructure, but the beavers effectively created their own system — while also boosting biodiversity and restoring the ecosystem around them.

Fuel breaks like this one, created near the town of Murphy, are vital to community wildfire resilience, helping slow fire spread, reduce intensity, and giving firefighters a safer, more effective place to engage.

They also improve access for crews and expand defensible space on a broader scale, extending protection beyond individual properties.

This work is one part of California’s broader wildfire strategy - it takes a combination of community hardening, aggressive response, and landscape-scale fuel reduction working together to protect lives, property, and natural resources.
