Today, my wife & I joined Donald Trump’s hit list. He has directed his Department of Justice to investigate us. They have not found a crime - they are simply trying to find one.
He isn't coming after me because of mean tweets, but because I am considering running for President.
He hates that I consistently call him out. He is simply the most corrupt President in American history.
We have nothing to hide.
Mr. President, come after me. I am not going anywhere.
The country is watching.
There's no silver bullet solution to the climate crisis--we need to use all of the tools in our toolbox. One of those tools is carbon capture and storage, which injects carbon dioxide deep underground.
Secretary @WadeCrowfoot recently visited Carbon TerraVault I, a first-of-its-kind carbon capture and storage project that will help advance California’s progress toward carbon neutrality. The project is the first operational carbon capture and storage project in California.
CalHeatScore is an early warning system that enables precise rapid-response resource deployment in communities that need it. Here in CA, we lean in to lifesaving data and science.
London Underground station flooding has reportedly been reduced by around 90% thanks to a group of engineers: beavers.
After conservationists reintroduced a family of beavers into a nearby city park, the animals built dams and restored wetlands that now absorb and slow floodwater naturally.
Authorities had planned major man-made flood infrastructure, but the beavers effectively created their own system — while also boosting biodiversity and restoring the ecosystem around them.
Thank you🙏 to everyone whose shoulders we stand on as we drive forward @30x30CA and all of our conservation work. More work to do 🚀 with @CalCoastal, @ca_coastal, @CAStateParks, @CAStateLands and so many more partners. Let’s go!⏩⏩⏩
Project Nexus is a first of its kind pilot exploring solar panels over irrigation canals to evaluate water savings, clean energy generation, and land conservation. Today we celebrated the completion of construction with our project partners, a major milestone made possible through strong collaboration across state, local, academic, and private sector teams. DWR is proud to support climate smart innovation that helps build a more resilient water and energy future for California.

No better way to celebrate Earth Day than with three new @CAStateParks in the Central Valley, making California’s park system the LARGEST and STRONGEST in the nation!
Thrilled to join folks in Fresno to announce the Feather River Park, San Joaquin River Parkway, and the Dust Bowl Camp.
This Earth Day, we're so excited to announce the biggest expansion to our state parks system in decades!
Our State Parks Forward initiative adds three new state parks in the Central Valley — pushing the statewide total to 283 parks — while growing existing parks by 30,000 acres by the end of the decade.

What if we took more of our surplus public lands and put them to work to provide public benefit (her to limit stormwater runoff) AND help communities grow food & teach stewardship❓
After three-years of closures, ocean salmon fishing is returning to California.
As we celebrate this moment, it comes with a clear reminder: recovery is possible but not guaranteed.

“By guiding long-term stewardship of these projects, the Conservancy allows our state agency to stay focused on what comes next: more projects to protect communities, restore habitat and deliver real results for the people who live here." - Secretary @WadeCrowfoot
Big news today: we're excited to announce the launch of the Salton Sea Conservancy, our first new conservancy in 15 years.
The conservancy will help deliver and sustain restoration projects improving air quality, wildlife habitat and community health.
Fuel breaks like this one, created near the town of Murphy, are vital to community wildfire resilience, helping slow fire spread, reduce intensity, and giving firefighters a safer, more effective place to engage.
They also improve access for crews and expand defensible space on a broader scale, extending protection beyond individual properties.
This work is one part of California’s broader wildfire strategy - it takes a combination of community hardening, aggressive response, and landscape-scale fuel reduction working together to protect lives, property, and natural resources.
