This Cocke County team traversed…
-the death of a player this off-season
AND
-the loss of one of its top players and leaders late in the regular season
…and still emerged with its first district tournament title since 2013.
That, folks, is what we call fortitude. 👏
Looking at Nate Morriss on March 2, one would have never been able to tell that he has been living in a hotel for months.
But @WadeWester and other community members are trying to change things for the 24-year-old Cocke County grad, who was also diagnosed with autism as a toddler.
