@LoneStarLegendX It’s not about the person in the seat representing the people, it’s about the donor network behind the seat. The person in the seat is easily replaceable and the network of corruption continues.
You can’t kill a weed unless you remove its roots.
Lindsey Graham and his sister are an obvious example of the failings of our political system, especially in the Senate.
Each seat represents a network of special and foreign influence that cannot be interrupted. You cut off the head off the worm, the body grows another one.
Most people didn’t know Darline Graham existed 6 weeks ago. She has no established track record, and most people still have no idea what her values or beliefs are.
I don’t think it can be disputed at this point that enormous sect of the conservative voting base is voting off of nothing more than “Trump says so”.
Most buyers don’t really “agree” to it as HOAs are forced on them in today’s market with almost no real choice. I'm sure the majority would opt-out if given the option.
It’s not illegal for a neighbor to work on a transmission in the front yard (as long as it's before 11 p.m.). Painting a house hot pink should be the owner’s decision, not something a board gets to veto while still collecting dues. Inconvenience alone doesn’t justify that kind of control.
We expect our government and these boards to be fiscally responsible, but the reality usually falls short.
Are you involved with an HOA?
It's time for the government to start regulating the Home owner's Associations.
Let's start with an easy one: Monthly HOA dues are not allowed to exceed 10% of average mortgage/ rent of the community.
Why is it legal to charge a homeowner $500+ a month in dues?
I hate government regulation except when it’s aimed at predatory private governments that already regulate daily life. HOAs can put a lien on your house if you fail to pay them.
They fine you. They control what you can do with your property. And a big chunk of those dues often goes to paying the bureaucrats whose job is to enforce those restrictions.
Actual costs should matter but so should basic accountability.
@Mike_Pence@ZelenskyyUa What are you even doing there? Your political career is over. Go spend time with your family. We don’t want to see you anymore.
@BreannaMorello Does this make housing, groceries, and everyday living more affordable for Americans? It not, I don't care. I've completely check out on all of this.
🚨 TRUMP: “WE’LL BUY ARGENTINE BEEF.”
Reporters asked what he’d say to U.S. ranchers losing their shirts. His answer?
“Argentina is fighting for its life… they’re dying.”
Meanwhile, 77 American cattle producers a day are going out of business.
@rexjonesnewz Have the local and national GOPs done ANYTHING to try and bring younger people to the polls? Nope. They’d have to refocus their current policies, strategies, and candidates and they would rather lose than evolve.
What a slap in the face to American cattlemen & consumers. Worse than socialism! Dumping foreign beef in U.S. markets can temporarily lower prices but it won’t incentivize American farmers to raise more beef. Bring back Country Of Origin Labels & pass my PRIME Act.
@TPostMillennial Neither party has a plan to address the national debt. The actual strategy in place is to ignore it and keep spending because it won’t be a problem for the geriatrics currently in office when the number becomes detrimental in 7-10 years.
@MarshaBlackburn The GOP hasn't fought for anything in the last 10 years except to line their own pockets.
You can continue to desperately try to convince people that Dems are the problem, but it's obvious that the cancer in our own party is by far a greater threat.
