With heavy hearts we remember Waggener teacher and coach Lord Robert Hammond who passed away Thursday, September 8 after battling cancer.

Lord Hammond’s funeral will be held on Thursday, September 15th at 3:30pm at Saint Frances of Rome Catholic Church.

5 Things I Made This Year I’m Proud Of #1 is this little Digital Storytelling community. This is such a fantastic group of students. I got to hang with some of my old students and met new ones who are so amazing. We had so much fun learning. I love this crew. 💜🧡💚

5 Things I Made This Year I’m Proud Of #2 is Memoría de mi Niñez. It’s a series of Spanish shadow puppet plays (this is a tiny clip) that I did with Ms. Steinkamp. Her students worked so hard, and it was so much fun. I am so proud of this. We did this crazy thing. 💚💙💜

5 Things I Made This Year I’m Proud Of #3 is The Equity Project. I made this with Ms. Mears for Senior English. It was our school’s most used Backpack Artifact for our Defenses. It’s sick. It meets students where they are and let’s them put whatever they have into it. 💜💙🤍

It's the last five days of school, so I'm going to share five things I made this year that I'm proud of. #1 The Pick A Vacation Project. This collaboration with Ms. Sullivan and Mr. Tomes is for Algebra 1. I am particularly proud of it because of how fun it looks. I did that.
