@LawrenceTJ13@marc80008@metoffice So did I... The paper portrays Antarctic warming as real and significant but slower/less uniform than models project or than Arctic warming. So where`s the UHI in Antarctica and Arctic?
@JonBowie1@MsStockford@metoffice That is potential for error NOT guaranteed error. Met office has 200+ PHD level and above scientists working for them. They cross check metadata with balloon and satellite data. All that info is widely available on net. Go find out
@BenKoby1911@metoffice Image doesn't include a side-by-side comparison of Class 2 vs. Class 3-5 maxima on the same days. Without that it`s meaningless. What`s your source?
@LawrenceTJ13@marc80008@metoffice If you want to find out, and I`m sure you probably don`t, there`s 10`s of thousands oof articles on the greenhouse effect online
@LawrenceTJ13@marc80008@metoffice To a small degree but doesn`t account for global temperature rise including remote areas. How much UHI does Antarctica get? https://t.co/KVfLexufF9
@JonBowie1@MsStockford@metoffice No they don`t all start as class 1. The Met Office has been recording weather data for a lot longer than the WMO has existed, has it`s own class. WMO introduced site classification in 2014 as an attempt to standardise data gathering across the globe. It is NOT to asses accuracy.
@RichMJeffries@metoffice@SnowbieWx Congratulations Richard you`re now the official UK weather bureau. When are you going to start measuring the rest of the country?
@MsStockford@metoffice Post the official admission by the Met Office that their records are junk. Conspiracy theories from retired accountant Paul Homewood have zero credibility.

@BenKoby1911@metoffice Publish your data, get scientifically peer reviewed and your golden. Otherwise you`ll remain a crank that trolls Met Office twitter
@Walterdude1664@metoffice Get your evidence published so other scientist can review it. That`s what Met Office do, good luck.
The Met Officeโs research findings and methods are published in reputable scientific papers โ no evidence of โfabricatedโ data

@MsStockford@metoffice No point quoting Toby Youngs septic, that is junk.
