@JonBowie1 @MsStockford @metoffice That is potential for error NOT guaranteed error. Met office has 200+ PHD level and above scientists working for them. They cross check metadata with balloon and satellite data. All that info is widely available on net. Go find out

@JonBowie1 @MsStockford @metoffice No they don`t all start as class 1. The Met Office has been recording weather data for a lot longer than the WMO has existed, has it`s own class. WMO introduced site classification in 2014 as an attempt to standardise data gathering across the globe. It is NOT to asses accuracy.
