Rachel Conway and Trevor Ketterling have dedicated their Raleigh home to giving animals second chances, fostering dozens of pets over the past four years. ๐พ
Rachel, who works at @PackAthletics, and Trevor, an actor and former vet assistant, care for medical and behavioral foster cases while helping animals heal and prepare for permanent homes. Despite the challenges of fostering, the couple remains committed to being what Rachel calls โthe steppingstone to forever."

The shelter is open for adoptions daily from noon to 6 p.m., seven days a week. It is located at 820 Beacon Lake Drive, near the intersection of I-440 and New Bern Avenue in Raleigh.
To encourage adoptions during National #AdoptAShelterCatMonth, the Wake County Animal Center is hosting a monthlong cat adoption promotion. Throughout June, adoption fees for all cats older than 6 months will be just $5.
