@JEngelMattern I used it recently. The released story is much better than the first draft =P and it helped me get over the feeling that first draft on my current book was garbage. =)

@JEngelMattern Write a few short stories. Like 10 pages or less. Let them be crap. Then edit them to good. It's a quicker process and is a nice reminded that first drafts are crap

@sliced_carpet I'm a wake up 3-5 minutes before my alarm, look at my clock and get irritated my brain didn't give me those 3-5 more minutes of sleep kind of person.

@AshleyEditorial I do a panel on this at multiple conventions, short answer: it depends. But if your asking the question it's usually time to start writing. Remember the minute details are for you, they don't need to be for the reader. Your characters knowing them is enough to add the realism IMO
