Say hello to our new Purchasing Manager, Steve Kirton. Steve joins us with around 25 years experience in purchasing, stock control & vendor management. On his appointment, Steve says "it is great to join the team and be part of a growing organisation such as Wakefield Acoustics".
Our normal process will involve a detailed site measure, production of co-ordinated 3D general arrangement drawings and manufacturing details prior to us stepping foot on site to undertake the installation works

We have experience of reducing noise from lots of different types of industrial equipment. In a recent project for a new client, we were tasked with reducing noise from a cooler unit which was causing disturbance to nearby receptors

These printed container end covers certainly look the part. Installation works are progressing well on these 8 containers, and the end covers protect the units from the wet West Yorkshire weather conditions!

These containers for electrical switchgear are currently drying, awaiting final inspection before being removed from the paint shop and on for fitting out of the client’s equipment.

Our in-house spray painting team takes pride in their work. All metal surfaces are fully degreased and prepared prior to coating, and paint thicknesses are measured and checked through the course of application.

Our projects team welcomed a ‘new’ starter recently. Having started as a fabricator, Lloyd transitioned to become a site installation team leader, and latterly a production team leader managing day to day workings within our acoustic container fabrication cell.

Industrial noise control solutions come in all different forms, and no two solutions are the same. On our latest installation, our client had experienced noise complaints arising from a number of plant items around the site.

Our installation comprised of acoustic baffles for inlet air grilles, and stainless steel attenuator units for boiler stack make up air, which were carefully designed to provide minimal impact upon airflow.
