Mikel Arteta is younger than Patrice Évra by the way but while Arteta is leading a whole club to glory, Évra is running banter gimmicks against a 16 year old Max Dowman.

“Different issues require different levels of communication. A public holiday announcement may need only a short note. But a pandemic, epidemic, security matter, tourism advisory, investment issue, financial policy, diplomatic matter, or national crisis requires depth, context, reassurance, and precision.
That is the difference between content creation and strategic communication.”
I generally find no problem with @kasujja’s one line press releases, for as long as they serve the purpose without losing anything more important. If anything, they’ve attracted more attention to the messages being relayed. Coming from a background of philosophy, I find a problem with any argument that starts with: ‘that’s not how it should be’. If it ends there, without providing convincing reasons why it ‘should be’ like that, it is mere (uncritical) conformism with conventions.
The only bit of a problem I find with the one liners (as a researcher) is the potential difficulty to understand their context in future. A researcher looking at some of them in 2040 may not easily understand the context and rationale in and around them.
