“Never Joe, and I’ll tell you, the hills—deepest and darkest I’ve ever seen. I saw many gravestones, most on hillsides, the most beautiful mountain hillsides, and that’s where I read, and the people were so friendly, very kind”

When @NorahODonnell comes on the evening news, my grandfather’s face lights up. If he happens to leave the room shortly before it starts, he pauses the TV, and no one touches it until he can get through the whole thing. Thank you for the joy you have brought to our lives these past five years, Norah. May your future as a special correspondent bring you continued success and enjoyment.

Growing up, as a veteran’s son, I learned that our freedom is not free. And as Reba said, that’s why people fight for it.
As we cast our ballots today, let us never forget the lives lost and sacrifices made by our service members to make it all possible.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. 🇺🇸
