@ABetterOttawa It doesn't maintain the heritage buildings. It removes one and cuts both off. Why alter four current affordable units when we could add human-scaled infill in our parking lots? The heritage overlay does not permit this micro-apartment, let alone the lack of storm runoff.

@ABetterOttawa I think you are a little confused about NIMBYism. Lowertown is already very intensified and community-scaled, just what you want. The suburbs are not. Have you listened to Jan Gehl and others? These are micro-apartments in a heritage conservation district. Are you anti-heritage?

@CBCOntarioToday I live in a very dense area in downtown Ottawa (in a heritage district) where we have major pressure by developers adding 'luxury' condos. Meanwhile, vacant parking lots on major routes are left empty. I hope suburban areas densify.
