Never let anyone make you feel less for not owning a car, and don't ever treat it as an achievement.
This is a car with its interior removed, take a very good look at it; Just mostly metals and wires. Whether the car costs 6 billion, a million, or a couple of thousands, remember that all cars have similar components.
It's OK to have a car or cars, but should you obessess over them? No. At the end of the day, these things are vanityyyyy.
Since I made this hair, my eyes have seen my nose π
The craziest happened last Thursday. I was in a Keke Napep, browsing through the internet when the driver stopped to pick up a young guy in NYSC uniform.
He sat beside me, we were just two at the back, the driver had another man beside him, Corper smiled sweetly at me, I smiled back and the journey progressed.
Some minutes later, the Corper reached his destination, I was still engrossed with my phone, he jumped off and waited to collect his 100 Naira change.
The driver went through his box for the change but found none.π
He looked up at the bright eyed corper...
"ko si 100 Naira o..." (There's no 100Naira change)
That was when I looked up. In cases like this, if I noticed there would be a delay, either that the passenger was not willing to let the change go or the driver was also not willing to lose anything, I step in, one way or the other.
This time however, before I stepped in to tell the driver to return his 500Naira, this corper looked at me sharply, looked at the driver and pointed at me!
"E ba mi fun girl yen ni change mi." ( Help me give the girl my change)
The way I screamed "Haaa!" The driver and his neighbor turned briskly...before I could say anything else, Corper had bounced away on his white canvas, running into GTB...probably for his 77Kπ€¦ββοΈ
Driver and I started laughing at the same time.
He said "Na man dey do man, why he no tell me to keep the change, he dey give girl money."
I was like "Oga that is not the biggest problem here o, the biggest problem is...never mind sef"
I just shook my head and continued laughing.
This hair has done more harm than good. Yesterday my daughter and I were strolling, some boys coming from whatever coaching center were running after me, shouting "Awayu Baby" I was literally screaming "how dare you! Zoom my face!" π€¦ββοΈ "are me your mate!"
My daughter just laughed and laughed, then turned to me "Mummy that serves you right, why did you make this hair"
π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈππππ
I am 41 years old for crying out loud!
Never ever again!!!

β27th of this month will make it four years of celibacy for me. Technically, what Iβm trying to say is I have not slept on the same bed with a woman for the past four years. It has not been easy but I thank God. Itβs not by my power but by His Grace.β
