You will be a senior NIHR leader and ambassador who will champion the vital work we do in supporting the researchers of today and developing the researchers of tomorrow.
Do you have:
✔️an extensive understanding of the health, social care and public health research landscape in the UK
✔️experience of developing expert research capacity and capability across academia and the health, social care and public health systems
✔️a track record of achievement in translational, clinical, applied health, public health or social care research
✔️the ability to shape, respond to implement NIHR policy

For the first time, senior research leaders from Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be part of a wider NIHR Senior Investigator community.
From 24 June:
➡️ Senior researchers in Northern Ireland can apply for the award
➡️Existing senior research leaders in Scotland and Wales will be recognised as NIHR Senior Investigators
➡️All will gain access to a UK-wide research network
