Bottom line:
Memory chip stocks crashed because they were priced like the good times would never end.
The earnings were great. But great isn't enough when you're priced for perfect.
The AI memory story isn't dead. But the easy money phase is over.
Now it's a stock-picker's market. And you need a strong stomach.

Micron just reported $41 billion in revenue. Up 74%.
They guided $50 billion for next quarter. Their gross margin hit 84%.
And the stock crashed 10%.
Samsung said profits jumped 19-fold. The stock fell 7%.
SK Hynix, SanDisk, Kioxia โ all getting destroyed.
The memory chip crash is here. And it makes no sense... until it does ๐งต

What should you do?
If you own memory stocks:
- Don't panic sell at these levels
- But don't add yet either
- Wait for the washout to finish
If you're looking to buy:
- Micron (MU) at 10x forward PE is interesting
- But wait for the trend to turn โ don't catch a falling knife
- Watch Samsung and SK Hynix guidance. If THEY get nervous, it's not over
AMD crushed earnings โ record revenue, AI sales doubled. Stock crashed 8%. Western Digital beat too โ crashed 11%. Good news = sell signal now?

Thursday morning and US markets have been open for an hour. S&P 500 is flat at 7,726 โ up just 0.03% from yesterday. Dow slightly up, Nasdaq slightly down. Pretty boring so far.
Yesterday was wild though. Dow hit another record (+0.5%) but Nasdaq fell 0.8%. The big story? SpaceX crashed 14% on its first earnings as a public company. Investors didn't like what they saw. AMD also dropped 6.5% even though they beat estimates โ people are getting picky about chips.
On the bright side: Shopify jumped 17%, Disney gained 4% on earnings and a new TikTok deal, Nvidia rose 3.5%.
Today I'm watching:
โ Sandisk & Western Digital โ earnings after bell, both down big from June highs
โ SpaceX โ after that 14% crash, any bounce or more pain?
โ Alphabet โ down 3.5% yesterday on AI leadership changes, still bleeding?
โ Gold โ hit $4,315, up 3.9%. People are buying safety
Oil is calm at $75 (WTI). No Iran news today.
Key levels: S&P 7,750 target, 7,600 support.

Thursday morning and markets opened with a small gap up. GIFT Nifty opened at 24,740 โ up 0.43% from yesterday's close of 24,634. Sensex also opened higher around 78,900.
Yesterday was decent โ RBI kept repo rate unchanged at 5.25% (as expected), but they lowered inflation forecast which was a positive signal. Nifty closed at 24,634, Sensex at 78,581.
But there's bad news today โ Trump imposed an extra 25% tariff on India for buying Russian oil. That's a big deal and could hurt exports. Markets might give up some gains because of this.
Also watching:
โ NSDL IPO listing today โ expected 15% listing gain, priced at โน800
โ Bajaj Auto Q1 profit jumped 14% to โน2,210 crore
โ SpaceX crashed 13% overnight despite beating earnings โ AI spending scared investors
Stocks I'm watching:
โ NSDL โ IPO listing pop expected
โ Bajaj Auto โ strong Q1, stock could move
โ IT stocks โ TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech (tariff worries might hit them)
โ Banking โ HDFC Bank, SBI (RBI hold means no rate relief yet)
Key levels: 24,400 support, 24,800 target. Trump tariff news could push us back to 24,500.

Bottom line:
SpaceX's first earnings proved what many suspected. It's a phenomenal rocket company with a great satellite business... and a very expensive AI hobby.
The stock dropped because the bill is due. And unlike when it was private, public investors want to see returns.
Starlink is saving this company right now. Everything else is a bet.
Great companies can be bad stocks if you pay too much. SpaceX is the textbook example.

SpaceX just had its first earnings call as a public company.
The stock dropped. Again.
It's now down 45% from its peak and trading below the IPO price. Elon Musk's baby โ the biggest IPO in history โ is bleeding on Wall Street.
But here's the thing: the numbers aren't actually that bad. The problem is what SpaceX is spending money on. And it's the same problem hitting every tech company right now.
Let me break it down ๐งต
9/10
If you're an investor watching this:
Don't FOMO into the dip. Yet.
SpaceX has $15.9 billion in cash. It just borrowed another $25 billion. It can burn money for years.
But that also means years of dilution, debt, and share sales ahead.
Wait for the lock-up periods to end. Wait for the company to prove it can make money from something other than Starlink.
The $135 IPO price might actually be fair value. The $225 peak was a bubble.
