This year, the @COTimesRecorder has done something that no other outlet in the state has done: doggedly covered the advance of extremism in school districts around the state.
With school board elections 6 days away, I want to re-up some of that coverage. ⬇️

Colorado Springs dad calls out the District 11 school board for spending $40,000 on a public relations firm allegedly tied to the Republican Party.
"$40,000 can buy a lot of pencil erasers, but even that isn't enough to erase the mistakes of this board." #COpolitics
This is the "radical progressive" that conservatives warned you about. Pretty sure more policing doesn't result in safer communities. Would much rather see a proposal to retain revenues for community supports for those most in need.

@Chasten Dear @RNCResearch
thought you should know —allow me to translate : recent (nationwide) polling consistently shows Americans (overwhelmingly) support the LGBTQA community — stop attacking them.
Bari Weiss got a half-million dollar donation from Harlan Crow to help create an "anti-woke" nonprofit — the "Foundation Against Intolerance & Racism"
But FAIR was completely hobbled by infighting from members and donors who wanted to focus on fighting the transgenders 🫡
Hey @NikkiHaley — I’m a pediatrician right here in South Carolina who has worked with countless suicidal kids, and zero have ever cited trans kids in sports… but plenty mentioned anti-LGBTQ rhetoric akin to the words coming out your mouth.
