We had quite the dilemma last night. Major hailstorm and not enough room in the barn for all the important things. Did we have our priorities right? Farmer vs. Camper! (3,4, and 5 series all had to leave the barn to make room for the Airstream).
@BrookeDoyle_ Had it since it first became available. 99.8% reliable (bad storms will knock it off). Excellent throughput. Also have mini for the mobile office.
@Uber - when a pre-booked ride has an assigned driver for almost a week, and then they ‘cancel’ 30 mins before showing up, and then you can’t find another driver, it is VERY poor service. You need to do better.
@harmsy@JohnLeePettim13 Isn’t it only somewhere between 1 and 3 years (depending on where it is made / installed) to recover the carbon / energy costs of producing a PV panel?
@PhilSwantek Are those die cast models really for the kids, or are they on your shelf? I still have mine from when I was a kid, and can’t resist buying the models of any equipment I have in the barn!
@therealmissjo There was a time when people would help each other. I’d like to think that if Mary spoke to anyone also parking that they would gladly pay her parking fee from their app. Mary would give them cash. Of course this is a fantasy from a world before social contracts were broken.
@jzantinge2 The calculation is always cost per hour of future use (hard to predict) before the next breakdown! If $3k gets you another 1000 hours it is pretty good value compared to a new piece of (non rusty) machinery, right?
@dustinkittle It has a ‘side crust’ and a ‘bottom crust’. It is filled with a custard. Therefore it is a pie. Of course, we call it cheesecake so as not to confuse with cheese pie which is something very different!
Media friends: If you have been seeing the trending video of @serenawilliams about cotton, I recommend you head over to @Mr_Black_Cotton - a NC farmer who knows more about this topic than 99.9% of uninformed ‘influencers’ and rage-baiters.
