@TopstepGal I did the exact same thing the other dat. For me i think it has more to do with my mood and mental capacity that day. Sometimes i just dont have it and i have to learn to step away. Thats different than your setup not working.
@zimwhodey That will get shut down, especially with the emphasis on player safety. You can’t allow that on double teams. I would bet there will be a letter sent to teams or it will be emphasized somehow by officials before games. I would even bet Sunday pregame shows have segments on it
@JoeGoodberry So basically they are attempting play action plays but not really running a play action game and creating those easy button plays, which then open up the deep shots.
@JoeGoodberry And one of the biggest benefactors of play action passes is an in-line TE, because as the LB are coming forward or at least pausing, a in-line TE is literally running past and gapping them. That’s the easy button throw from play action.
@JoeGoodberry I also think there is an element to committing to running the ball. For play action success to sustain you have to actually hand the ball off at a high enough rate. You can’t simply run play action and expect defenses will react.
@JoeGoodberry I would like to see more draw plays where he does not turn his back to the D righr away, and play fake off of that. They should also be way better at play action screens and boots. Not sure how many of those things they have even tried.
@JoeGoodberry Live and die by a conservative mindset on offense. Burrow, Zac, they all mentioned being able to be more conservative on offense.Felt like they played offense to not lose. Methodical, don’t take shots or risks. Never really challenged PIT D.
@JoeGoodberry Burrow said in his post game that the defense playing well allows the offense to be more conservative. Does that worry you at all? Like we might call plays to fit the game vs not trying to put teams away
Every week i like to find the opponents media/content people and see what they say pre and post game. I think @JoeGoodberry is the best around. Support this guy so we can keep him around. Now a member on X and Youtube.
@JoeGoodberry You should check out The Locker Room with Landry Locker on Youtube. He's a Texans media guy and his postgame show is really good this week, he's a funny dude
@JoeGoodberry You have to give the offense credit for evolving, even if we think it’s too slow sometimes. That would be an interesting video comparing what the offense is doing now vs a couple years ago or even last year. You sort of have with the under center and PA
