@dylan522p I love cracking jokes at women, that I secretly wish they don’t get, so I can mansplain them to them, so they subtly understand what a genius I am truly are! Keep it up!
Erster auf der diesjährigen #hubdisrupt wo es um die digitale Zukunft geht und X/Twitter schon wieder der Vergangenheit anzugehören scheint (da ist zumindest keiner), oder doch? @smartsystemshub
Sarah Mardinis ugh talk was DIRECT at #TOA23 although having her here in between fire side chats like „how is it to have 10bln evaluation“ seems apparently odd. Her points are solid and valid though. Does it take Netflix to get our asses out of the comfort zone?
Right now I am at #TOA23 awaiting Josef Ackermann joining the panel „The foundation for an accessible web3“ (lnk to schedule seems to be cmpl); still thinking of welcoming him with V sign :)
…using these would allow you to achieve the same goals now w/o additional libraries and thus get not only away from vendor lockin but from (federation-)framework lock-in as well. Meet up with me, if you want to discuss! #ejs23
ModuleFederation is a WebPack concept to solve a specific use case that is mixing concerns (rewriting module specifiers, version resolution, shared modules). There are other solutions / strategies available that do not rely on bundler/compiler specific implementations… #ejs23
There is no easy answer to whether sth. should be shared or not within a #micro-frontend #mFE architecture. Sharing saves bandwidth at the cost of violating self-containment of a fragment. #ejs23 If multiple Fragments import() the same module specifier, it only gets loaded once.
Wonder why it took @andrenaobjects 5 yrs & 100k+LoC to come to conclusions that are good ideas for single projects too: Prettier, Eslint, Playwright & why did they develop own monorepo tooling w/o solving hoisted deps… and re-inventing topological sorted, affected builds?#ejs23
Michael Zugleder suggest using AI for non-overlapping arrows in his diagrams. I am afraid, this is NP-complete (https://t.co/9nI2vqyq8R), i.e. nothing AI could solve ever. :) Besides that listening to his trench experience of working on JavaScript XXL (sic!) on #ejs23
Wait events are not solving all my software problems? Using events we can still write unmaintainable, non-scalable code? I will still need people that think about code? FCK, then I stick with PHP! #devdaydd
We applied this for a big customer in 2018, with mixed results - although we developed documentation tooling https://t.co/eTSOjpVnJi it is hard to get all developers into such a mindset to adopt those patterns.
@mirkoseifert42 Presentation (actually it’s architecture) reminds me a lot of Enterprise Integration patterns by Gregor Hophe/Bobby Woolf and it’s applied usage for Redux by Victor Savkin https://t.co/P2s74WdWj1 #devdaydd
If anyone is wondering why there is a partial #blackout in 01097 #dresden, #SachsenEnergie knows about it and „Die Kollegen sind unterwegs“. Seems like they did not notice 5h ago…
