@StellarFox16 @jackunheard The employer will have to pay more - whatever the job market demands - to staff these positions with visa workers or US citizens, because those groups have a choice of where to work and what type of work to do. Undocumented labor is exploitation.

There is a pay rate where Americans will do this job; higher costs may mean we don’t get all the strawberries we’re used to, or we start sourcing locally / seasonally.

Work visas allow people to come legally and protect them from exploitation and low wages.
