I just found out that it’s not just chevron wallpaper. They are going after “Backrooms” in general.

I was looking for the thread below on reddit and came across another person with an issue. I asked them to post their artwork and they posted the takedown request (no chevrons to be seen).

This is bad. Really bad.

I love the movie so much but seeing this I’ve lost respect for A24. The Backrooms doesn’t belong to anyone and definitely not a film studio.

@kosmiverse The greed definitely come from A24. I suppose some are mixing jealousy with the current situation and prefer to attack Parsons for that reason.
Attacking individual ,when the obvious issue is corporation greed, won't solve anything.

A24 just removed someone's self-made Backrooms wallpaper texture from being sold on RedBubble despite it predating the movie and not even being the pattern they used. It does not belong to A24, and neither does the traced texture used for the film. This is absurd

Always loved Sam Neill as an actor and human, many interviews were he was open with his struggles and show vulnerability. Remembering one where he talks about impostor syndrome that i still think about quite often.

@Somili_ I see what you mean, first sketch is probably more focus and minimalistic, less bright, feeling is a bit different. I enjoy it too.
