AUSTIN MAN charged yesterday with indecent exposure for the third time; previously arrested for masturbating in front of a 16-year-old hostess at Red Lobster.

His record:

• 2019: Masturbated in view of a 16-year-old at Red Lobster - convicted of lesser charge, 18 months state jail

• 2020: Aggravated assault (felony) - reduced to misdemeanor. Indecent exposure - rolled into the other case.

• 2021: Indecent exposure - dismissed. Assault - dismissed. Failure to register as sex offender - 90 days.

• 2022: Failure to register again - no charges filed. Another indecent exposure - declined to prosecute.

• 2023: Chased a man 3 miles on a bicycle while brandishing a knife, threatened to kill him - aggravated assault charge: no charges filed. Terroristic threat: dismissed. Meth: no charges filed.

Yesterday's arrest: indecent exposure with 2+ prior convictions - now a felony because he's done it so many times.

25+ cases. Registered sex offender. Prosecutors keep passing on enforcing the law.
