@Leifer_11 @HockeyAlberta They would/should be worried about their kids athletic ability for life, for their ability to enjoy all sport long into their lives. But burnout, injuries and body alteration due to development at such young ages hinder future enjoyment and ability.

But parents aren't given this information, they are given all the benefits with no negatives. Responsible parents would do research on this like every other bs decision

@Leifer_11 @HockeyAlberta Producing better short term product yes. But exposing your child to such early specialization has drastic and life altering negative results if the children aren't developed correctly. They put their kids there for ice time, exposure, and prestige.
