Strand is a fascinating area in #London, with the theatres and the embassies, but also some old pubs with very interesting stories.

This is Sound II by Antony Gormley. It represents a man contemplating water in his hands and when it rains the crypt is flooded and the man is half submerged.

You can climb up the monument and overlook the grounds where the Battle of Stirling Bridge happened.

#CaerlaverockCastle, in #Scotland, is an impressive triangular defensive structure made of red sandstone.

One side is in ruins and, if you get a rainy day as we did, it makes it all look hazy and eerie.

After the salt town a few days ago, today a town famous for sugar & breweries: #BuryStEdmunds, in #Suffolk. This is St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

We love Bury for theatres, good pubs and beer shops, and good friends.
