DAY 26
PEACE & ONLY PEACE IS MY WAY…
While at Jantar Mantar the protests remain peaceful I’m pained to learn that elsewhere some antisocial elements are taking advantage of the peaceful protests to provoke violence.
No matter what the other side does our response must only be flowers.
Please keep this tradition at all costs.
AN APPEAL TO THE GOVERNMENT
regarding breaking my fast…
Once the assurance from govt come I will also appeal to the peacefully protesting students to halt the movement for now and enter into dialogue with the government
Sonam Wangchuk is trying hard to see you all! Just submitted a letter to the hospital as his health is good and they claim he is not in detention. So why the restrictions?
WHEN WILL I END THE FAST….!
Not withstanding my health my fast continues till after the Sansad Chalo March, and will be broken only under the following circumstances…
Message from Sonam :
20th JULY
आज़ादी का दूसरा आन्दोलन
भय मुक्त भारत, अन्याय मुक्त भारत
Freedom from injustice (Like paper leaks)
Freedom from Fear (my illegal detention)
India’s 2nd FREEDOM MOVEMENT
March to the Parliament
Please make it a big success
Sent through Gitanjali
from my illegal detention at Safdarjung
DAY 13 UPDATE
I’m no Gandhi, nor hero…
It pains me when some say in comments… you’re modern Gandhi… You’re the real Hero.
I’m just a citizen fulfilling the responsibilities of citizenship. So can you. Please stop looking for heroes in others. Be the hero of your own life story.

DAY 12 UPDATE
CHALO SANSAD
A peaceful march to the Indian Parliament.
Most countries in the democratic world are not only accessible but welcoming to general public. Most even have a protest place right in front, so there’s no reason this shouldn’t be possible in the capital of the ‘mother of democracy’
I’m mustering all my energy to say these few words… do please watch and comment
PEACEFUL MARCH TO THE PARLIAMENT, 20th JULY
Thanks for all your messages to break my Hunger Strike, but that wouldn't help the 20 students who committed suicide nor will that help protect the mountains of Ladakh or the rivers of India. If you really want to help then do a little more than messages from comfy couches, then come to Delhi & to Jantar Mantar on 20th July, when the Monsoon session of Indian Parliament starts. Together we'll start a very Peaceful March to the Sansad and appeal to our honorable MPs to take the issue up and find a lasting solution...

DAY 8
Still Alive, though not kicking….
Some 7,000 people gathered at Jantar Mantar today from morning to evening. Leaders of various social and political movements spoke in support. A clear indication of how effective this movement is can be judged from the number of trolls in the comments below. Over the years I’ve seen that this number is directly proportional to the impact. I’ll be so sad & dejected the day they go missing. Thank you, my success-o-meter, for your hard work.
