Nyonyintono Audrey, a Primary Six pupil at @SirApolloKira , won two bronze medals and set three personal bests at the XI @Africa_Aquatics Zone III Championships in Kampala. She claimed bronze in the girls’ 12-and-under 100-metre butterfly and 200-metre freestyle before finishing fourth in the 200-metre individual medley.

Former #SakSchools swimmer Muganzi Tyra, who completed her primary education at @FairwaysKireka , also represented Uganda, winning several gold and silver medals. Meanwhile, former learner @HusnahKukundak1 , who attended @SAKMengo , attended the championships as a guest.

At Sir Apollo Kaggwa Schools, we remain committed to identifying, nurturing and developing every learner’s talent alongside academic excellence, providing opportunities for pupils to grow and excel in sport and other disciplines.

Congratulations to Audrey on her two bronze medals and three personal bests, and to Tyra on her impressive medal-winning performance for Uganda. We are proud of you both and appreciate everyone supporting your swimming journeys! 👏🏽🇺🇬

This is how I got ready for the News Bulletin today. I try to explain to many people that is it's not easy getting ready for a news cast. This job requires so much mental and physical preparation. If you dare get into studio running on fumes you will fluff the whole News bulletin.
#NBSUpdates See you all on.
