In 2026, I cannot believe we are being asked to respond to the suggestion that the descendants of the enslaved should pay for the machinery that oppressed them.
The Caribbean does not owe Britain for slavery, for colonial extraction, or for laws that treated African people as chattel. We are not asking for charity. We are asking for justice, and history itself has already told the truth.
Those who wish to speak on this matter should first take the time to read enough history to understand it. The Caribbean will not be used as a prop for anyoneโs politics. We know who we are, we know what was done, and we will continue to speak for repair with clarity and dignity.
Nairobi needs to work FOR KENYANS!
I donโt know how we have created a country and a city that works for everyone else except Kenyans!
Pipeline is in drowning in sewer and darkness, while untaxed expatriates in Muthaiga are bathed in brightly lit, clean streets.

Why is incompetence so normalized in Kenyan universities? Iโm slowly learning that project supervisors just choosing NOT to supervise a project is standard practice & everyone is okay with this???!
They killed Lumumbaโฆ and you think they can give you peace ๐
In what universe? Is there peace in Libya? Iraq? Afghanistan?
Africa - till when? What must happen before you know that you are on your own? That it is on YOU! ๐๐
Seeing how our Kenyan brothers and sisters have embraced the struggle of the Togolese people over the past days is truly heartwarming. We come from different regions. We speak different languages: #Kenya is predominantly English-speaking, and #Togo, French-speaking. But none of that has stood in the way of our solidarity.
We are bound by something stronger than language or geography: a common fight against oppression and a deep longing to reclaim our dignity as African people.
Over the weeks, the people of #Togo have received tremendous support from across the continent and beyond. Young Africans in Ghana, The Gambia, Senegal, Uganda, Burkina Faso, South Africa, Nigeria, and so many other places have stood with us. That solidarity has given us strength and hope.
It shows us that when African youth rise up in one corner of the continent, the heartbeat of the entire continent echoes with them. That kind of unity is wholesome and beautiful. It is a reminder than a free and united #Africa is indeed possible. #FreeTogo #FaureMustGo #RutoMusgGo #DictatorsMustFall
Free Ndiangui Kinyagia. He was last seen on June 21 after a reported raid by DCI officers at his home in Kinoo. We call for his immediate release. If he is accused of any crime, let him be presented before a court of lawโnot held incommunicado. #FreeNdianguiKinyagia
Thousands have taken to the streets in Kenya to mark a year since antigovernment protests culminated in the storming of Parliament, despite fears of violence from state-backed gangs and police.

It is disheartening to see today that the strength of international law and humanitarian law no longer seems binding, replaced by the presumed right to overpower others. This is unworthy and shameful for humanity and for the leaders of nations.
Comrade Sebby Apudo and Comrade Derick Munyiri are being illegally detained at Ruaraka Police Station. Comrade Gloria Gakuru has been assaulted by the same police and left for dead. #FreeSebbyApudo#FreeDerickMunyiri#SiriNiNumbers
