Dear Michael Macharia
Thank you immensely for stepping directly into the arena to share your perspective and set the record straight.
When I launched The Silicon Savannah Chronicles—a series documenting the journeys, triumphs, and trials of 25 prominent tech founders—I knew that telling these complex stories would evoke strong reactions. Out of all 25 founders featured, only four have stepped forward to address the material directly, and you are the only one who has gone into such rich, granular detail to give the public the real story from inside the furnace.
(For context on the broader project, you can read the series overview here: The Silicon Savannah Chronicles)

This level of active participation is rare. In a parallel series I write—The 100 Men & Women Who Built Our Capital Markets—we routinely reach out directly to key architects of Kenya's financial systems, yet very few of out of the 100 featured, step up to document their legacy or explain the institutional mechanics behind their decisions: (Series link: The Architects of Capital)

The overarching purpose of Boardlot Africa is simple: to document the history of African entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and capital formation with the same rigor, depth, and permanence seen in Western markets so that generations of future builders have a real record to study.
By engaging so openly, you have made this documentation journey significantly more robust and valid. Rather than issuing a rebuttal, I intend to use the additional context, details, and nuances you’ve shared to deepen our research and further enrich the original piece.
True ecosystem building requires leaders willing to discuss both the glory and the heat of the courtroom, boardroom, and battlefield. Thank you for contributing to that record.
Best regards,
Sultan

Half of the time you arent even doing your job it's just fire fighting and QC and telling people what to do when they know very well what they need to do then follow up
A typical day first 3 or 4 hrs ni vita Tu.
Congrats though .
Save for the cash that checks in on 28th mgt is just pain
Nairobi CBD looks like a city in a war-torn country. Rubble and debris are everywhere, potholes as deep as the governor's dimples.
Waweza vunjika mguu tu ukitembea.
I've been questioning the sanity of a certain individual for a long time and even asked what constitutes treasonable, impeachable offence. Allowing a foreign state to build a quarantine facility of a highly infectious disease inside your main fighter air base is exactly that!
@muthamajoelKE@wanguwamajani@kg_njiru by grafting Ruiru 11 with SL rootstock you gain the advantage of having more drought resistant plants.
This is a 2 year old plant in Murang'a.
root stock - SL 28
bud - ruiru 11
@muthamajoelKE@wanguwamajani@kg_njiru I think you have your facts the other way round,
SL 28 has very good roots and bears big berries
ruiru 11 roots are not as deep and therefore more affected by drought. however, it produces more fruits as it also tends to have more branches, but the berries have less weight
@wanguwamajani@kg_njiru@muthamajoelKE haha, I will get you info to earn you some bragging rights .
ruiru 11 is a game changer, especially now that it is being grafted onto SL 28 root stock.
Hi guys kindly reshare/repost until he's found ..His name Zlatan Mwatha 4yrs old last seen pale garden city.He was wearing the same clothes as in the photo .
We are witnessing the loss of shame and embarrassment in our leaders.
Unchecked, the next few years will be defined by normalized recklessness and crises without correction.
Dark times ahead. Good ppl, Guard your inner compass ruthlessly and protect the young from despair.
Guys this is a major and big issue in the construction sector that I have to highlight urgently. I did an NDT for a client who was constructing a two storey structure in Nairobi and in all tests, the concrete was attaining only 50% of the required strength. 50% 🫥
