Mieszko I unified tribes and accepted Christianity in 966, and the Kingdom of Poland was established (with Bolesław I the Brave crowned king in 1025). Poland existed long before you say.

@uxm1ke @HistoryArcs I looked it up and you are correct. The numbers said it was about 42% ethnic Russians in Bolshevik leadership. The rest were a mix of Georgian, Jewish, etc. Grok did say the 15% Jewish leadership was higher than normal being that Jews were a smaller percentage of population.

Read all his books plus other Traditional arguments against such things as Religious Liberty etc. However, in all the material I have listened to so far I have never heard them say anything that contradicts Tradition.

@realtjhaines He preserves it through secondary means; humans. Through every age of the Church when the hierarchy was weak lay people have had a huge hand in preserving the Faith and calling out the wolves in sheep’s clothing. We are told to be on our guard against false teachers.

St. Ignatius is saying that if your assembly does not have this structure and your Bishops are not descended from the Apostles then you are not in the Church.

@KeptBy_God @Xtopher_Uzo @SwingtradeVIP These men who were in the priesthood but not Bishops came to be known as priests were those who held the full powers of the Priesthood were Bishops. Three levels in the priesthood: Deacon, Priest, Bishop.

As the Church grew more men were needed so the priesthood was further divided to include men that did not hold the full office of Bishop

The Apostles first ordained Deacons to help with their ministry and take over serving the people so they could Preach and Teach and celebrate the Sacraments.

@KeptBy_God @Xtopher_Uzo @SwingtradeVIP My Dad was an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian community. God rest his soul but that does not mean he was actually an Elder in Christs Church. He believed he was, as others did, but that doesn’t make it so.

The Apostles ordained other men into the Bishopric who are the successors of the Apostles. St. Ignatius is saying if you are not under their authority you are not in the Church.

@Captbobdad @Xtopher_Uzo All the churches you mentioned are Catholic. All celebrate the same Sacraments, same Creed, same Church government instituted by Our Lord. The Catholic Church is the Mystical Body of Christ.
