@GTDEarth@amonyx Yes, these things take time... Just like the internet, it grew out of key milestones like the creation of ARPANET in 1969, the launch of TCP/IP in 1983 and so on... So whether you like it or not, this will take time. Up to us if you're willing to hold till then. Just facts, no BS
@KuwlShow Great post! Thank you
It's exiting to see how this network is evolving. All in good time. And yes, all this takes time, but it is around the corner this time now that institutions are participating.
@Stellar_Rippler Lol... it's amazing to see how impatient someone people are with pricing. Don't forget, the internet was not invented all at once, but rather evolved through key milestones starting in 1969, not the late 90's. It's just a matter of time. Lock it or regret it for eternity.
@Tierra100able_ Sony, you want war? You got it. You’ll end up forgotten like Aiwa, Sanyo, and Sansui. You thought you were bigger than the gaming community, but you made a fatal mistake. You’ve awakened a sleeping giant with terrible resolve.
To the community: hold the line, break theirs!

PSBlackout is gaining momentum.
Sony's decision to stop making physical discs for new PlayStation games after January 2028 has sparked a major backlash from fans and they have signed 3,45,000 petition to oppose it.
Here's what's happening:
🎮 PSBlackout is planned for August 23 to August 30
🚫 Players are being urged not to log into PSN, play online, or buy games during the protest.
✍️ A petition opposing Sony's decision has already surpassed 345,000 signatures.
💿 Fans say the move to an all-digital future reduces true game ownership, limits game preservation, and gives players fewer choices.
📉 Critics also point to PlayStation's shrinking lineup of first-party exclusives, saying the PS5 has far fewer than previous generations.
👀 Some gamers believe the protest won't change Sony's plans, while others say they may switch to platforms like Xbox if physical media support continues there.
Sony says the shift reflects changing consumer buying habits, with more players purchasing games digitally through the PlayStation Store.
Will PSBlackout make Sony rethink its strategy, or is the future of gaming fully digital? 🤔

Proof that going digital-only is a corporate choice. I’ve walked away from Sony and closed my wallet for good. Moving forward, I’m only supporting publishers like #SEGA that listen to gamers and keep discs alive. #PhysicalMedia
Hold the line!
Si los videojuegos forman parte de tu vida:
🎮 Si disfrutas con ellos.
🌍 Si has crecido con sus mundos.
🫂 Si sus historias te han acompañado en los malos momentos.
📖 Si para ti el gaming es arte y cultura..
❌ No sigas consumiendo a Sony PlayStation.
Únete a la lucha. 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Kaz Hirai, former chairman, CEO and president of Sony bowed down to apologize for the 24 day PlayStation blackout in 2011, which was an attack, not their own fault🚀
And now, it took them 30 days to issue a vague statement that boils down to “we have carefully considered ‘strong’ reactions but screw you antway”
Crazy to see how far Sony has fallen off, from this level of respecting players to whatever they are now.
Stop funding people that don’t respect you and only see you as a number, especially when their output is as abysmal and as overpriced as this generation.
NO DISC 💿 NO BUY
ICYMI: Backers of physical media have called on gamers to boycott PlayStation for a week in August to send a message to Sony that its decision to kill discs from 2028 is unacceptable. https://t.co/Q54DTtbkUV

Remember when Saturday couldn't come fast enough?
You'd wake up, pop that cartridge or disc into your console, and disappear into another world all weekend.
No installs.
No server outages.
No wondering if your license would still work.
Just you, your game, and the weekend.
Some traditions are worth keeping.

We remember when video games were considered a niche hobby.
Back then, most big box retailers didn't care about stocking games. Independent game stores kept the hobby alive.
Then gaming exploded, and suddenly everyone wanted a piece of the action.
Now that many big box stores have empty shelves and games aren't the priority they once were, they've gone quiet.
Not us.
We'll keep fighting for physical games. We'll keep reprinting them. We'll keep proving they matter.
Because physical gaming is worth fighting for.
