It’s nice to be acknowledged by the Australian Cinematographer Society for the Burringurrah story. I had been wanting to make a yarn about the biggest rock in Australia for a couple of years, but in particular the Dreamtime story.
Excited to be in #YaganSquare to see some of the unique plants & animals that creating #RangerParks would help protect - showcased larger than life on the digital tower for #ThreatenedSpeciesDay

We had an amazing few days on Malgana country, in Guthurraguda, Shark Bay, last week. Guthurraguda means “two waters” in reference to the two bays of Shark Bay.
Bianca, Asha and Nykita McNeair showed us around and shared their stories and connection to Malgana country. Nykita is training to be a ranger with the Malgana Land and Sea Management program (funded by WA Govt Aboriginal Ranger Program @WAParksWildlife )

We’re about to hear about this report from one of the authors, Dr Carol Booth, at a launch event in #Perth today. We hear it reveals exciting new #wildlife hotspots in #OutbackWA! @ModernOutback @OutbackWA
