@TifaTheMonk This is one of the reasons for calling it a sequel, it acknowledges everything in AC as canon. And I think the general consensus for the sequel is wanting something more grand than what an AC ending provides. The books and AC are so important to Remake already, it's not erased.

@ectogamut For some reason everyone thinks Advent Children gets erased if the endpoint changes. That why the sequel thing became a thing, it's acknowledging that AC is canon and happened. FF7 has the opportunity to surpass itself and all it's parts with this trilogy, that's exciting.

@theshenami I think at the end of Remake, since there were a ton of questions, everyone was trying to pinpoint all aspects. Over time I think so many people took things the wrong way or spun things out of control. Now it's toxic. Finding theories in small details is fun like with Dark Souls
