On this day in 1513, Henry VIII landed in France with his army to fight the French in the War of the League of Cambrai. Meanwhile, in Scotland James IV considered a request for support from the French King Loius XII. The result would be the Battle of Flodden, fought between the English and the Scots on 9 Sept, 1513.
