We are expecting a major storm with dangerous, even life-threatening impacts! Here is a short list of what's coming and how you can prepare for and avoid hazards, including heavy rain and dangerous flooding, heavy mountain snow and strong, damaging winds. #CAwx
⚠️Dangerous, Life-Threatening Cold Expected Saturday Night through Tuesday⚠️
- On the heels of our snow, arctic air will be surging into the center part of the country from Canada. Highs on Saturday will be observed early in the day as temps drop. Lows Saturday night through Monday night could be below zero and well below zero at times. Highs below zero are possible on Sunday and Monday. We may go 36-48 hours without breaking 0 degrees. Wind chills will bottom out late weekend and early next week -10 to -30. We will slowly rebound later next week. Please make sure your pets and livestock are ready for life threatening cold. #ilwx
We have a pretty active weather pattern coming the next few days.
First storm system coming our way comes late tomorrow. A few showers tomorrow evening through the early Thursday hours- but for now looks like it won't be impacting the WDW 5k!
Still working toward a weekend washout for much of the state-
Big storm system gets going out in the gulf, and works through the peninsula before pulling north away from us;
Big rain, gusty winds, and even a severe component in there.
A washout kind of weekend sits ahead...
A few showers the next few days, but I want to make sure you're aware that models are going wet wet wet for Saturday.
Gusty winds, heavy downpours, and rough wave action at the beaches.
While this may evolve to a nor'easter, it's going to bring a crummy weather setup here...
@tarmac_xx I’m sorry that happened to both of you, I had the same issue. Told my friend I was having brain surgery and she couldn’t care less! So 22 years of friendship done.
Clouds and showers today, but we're more and more looking at a wet weather pattern the next few days- Storm system gets going in the gulf and starts bringing more and more rain.
Tomorrow through Thurs/Fri looking wet...
