since i wont be able to truly translate/localize the game myself, the goal is to put files and a rebuilder script on github where folks can contribute edits and/or download the current version anytime

lots of little UI elements need translating.
a lot of stuff can be translated as simple strings, but many of them are actually images embedded in the game's asset files and need manual editing

i beg yall to please just play some indie games. they're way cheaper, and 10x more interesting than anything you'll get out of a nintendo game. there are plenty of alternatives.
