For an event with an Asian theme held in our jungle location we covered banquet tables with a burnt orange shantung linen then topped them with two large butcher blocks of wood. The wood has been reused again and again for different looks. #eventprofs

At Warner Bros. Studios Special Events, we find ways to integrate sustainable practices into our events such as recycling aluminum and glass, separating food waste for organics recycling, using refillable water jugs and using biodegradable serviceware like the bowls pictured here

Canopies are a great way to shade buffets to daytime events but they don't have to be typical white. Find ways for them to add to the decor. Here, green and white stripes at a garden party theme looked more like an awning and lent a Sunday farmer's market feeling to the event.

Our final "scrim shot" In our week of throwing shade! For this one, we used an opaque white scrim to create a ceiling effect which in turn made the event feel more intimate and enclosed. Daytime events always present unique challenges. #eventprofs #venue

For this daytime event with a super hero vibe, the shade scrim was dark in keeping with the Bat mobiles and the color palette. Yet, even though it was black in color, the web design of the scrim allowed light and sky to show creating relief from the sun. #Batman #eventprofs

For this week-long daytime event held on Brownstone Street, international guests leave the screening rooms to enjoy breakfast & lunch outside. A scrim rigged overhead helps keep the breeze in and the sun out. This blue sky scrim is one of the custom touches to this artful design.

Throwing shade.⛱️ All week we're looking at unique ways we've provided shade for events. This particular year, metallic elements were front and center so the scrim was hand-painted with a shade of glam gold and black abstracts. #eventprof

From the first episode of Game of Thrones we've been huge fans. In fact, we were lucky enough to screen the first episode of Season One here at Warner Bros. Studios in the SJR Theater for a select group of people.

What the world needs now is L-O-V-E in any form! We are smitten with this particular buffet table by Town and Country Event Rentals. It was perfect for a recent corporate anniversary event for a company that wanted to show appreciation for its team. We ♥️ that! #eventprofs
