There's a very particular kind of relief and pride that comes after finishing a speech you were genuinely scared to give. If you've felt that recently, hold onto it, because that feeling is growth. Our members know it well, and it never gets old.
A Toastmasters meeting isn't a lecture or a class. It's a practice ground where you try things, get thoughtful feedback, and try again the following week.
The atmosphere is supportive, the learning is practical, and the progress is real. Come and experience it for yourself.
Communication. Leadership. Confidence. Listening. Adaptability.
These aren't just soft skills, they're the skills that shape careers, relationships, and how we show up in the world. Our members are building all of them, every single week, in a room full of likeminded people.
Table Topics is one of our favourite parts of every meeting, and possibly the most terrifying.
You're handed a random question or prompt and asked to speak for two minutes on the spot, with zero preparation. It's the best way to build confidence under pressure. π
What if you had a regular space in your week that was entirely dedicated to your growth?
Where people cheered you on, gave you honest feedback, and celebrated your progress?
That's what Warrington Toastmasters looks like on Monday evenings.
Guests are always welcome.
We spend so much time developing professional skills, but how often do we intentionally practise communicating? At Warrington Toastmasters, that's exactly what we do. If you're looking for a worthwhile investment in yourself, come along to our next meeting.
Most Mondays at 7:30pm
Imagine standing up in front of a room and feeling calm, prepared, and genuinely in control. That's not a gift some people are born with, it's a skill. And it's one our members build week by week. Warrington Toastmasters is a great place to start.
Have you ever left a meeting wishing you'd spoken up? Or finished a presentation feeling like you didn't quite do yourself justice? You're not alone.
At our Warrington Toastmasters, we meet regularly to help each other become more confident, compelling communicators. π
Everyone who joins a Toastmasters club will tell you the same thing:
"I wish I'd done this sooner."
If public speaking makes you nervous, you're in exactly the right place. Toastmasters was built for people who want to learn, practive and improve.
Reminder! This coming Monday 6th April is a bank holiday and there is no meeting.
Our next meetings will be:
13th April - online via Zoom
20th April - in person at Belong, Warrington
We look forward to seeing you then.
Laughter connects audiences and makes messages memorable. We encourage humour in speeches if it is appropriate for your speech and audience.
You don't need to be a comedian. Genuine moments, relatable stories, and well-timed observations create connection.
Every Warrington Toastmasters meeting includes diverse roles in addition to our speakers: Toastmaster, Evaluators, Timer, Grammarian, and more.
These roles provide low-pressure speaking opportunities while developing leadership skills. Take note of the roles on your next visit!
Consistent practice transforms speakers. Every speech you deliver, every Table Topics response, every role you take builds your skills and confidence incrementally. Your commitment matters more than your starting point. Keep practising!
Do you go blank when being asked a question? We've all been there. Our Table Topics sessions are specifically designed to help with this!
Each week, members practise answering unexpected questions on the spot in a supportive environment, and it genuinely gets easier over time.
Struggling to organise your thoughts when delivering a speech? Using a simple structure transforms rambling into clarity. In a structure sandwich, your opening and closing are slices of bread, but you still need a filling.
Try one of these structures!
Join us this evening at Warrington Toastmasters. Tonight we have an educational section on pausing and pacing to help you speak with more confidence, professionalism and gravitas.
Is this your first time? Not to worry! Guests are welcome!

Worried about messing up a speech or forgetting your words? Warrington Toastmasters is a safe, judgement-free environment where mistakes are celebrated as learning opportunities.
We support each other through stumbles and nerves because that's how we all grow stronger together.
Public speaking skills enhance every area of life: job interviews, difficult conversations, wedding speeches, business pitches, and networking events.
Warrington Toastmasters provides a safe space to develop confidence that transforms how you show up everywhere.
We all use filler words like um, uh, so, like, and you know when we speak. They creep in when we're thinking or nervous, but they can undermine your credibility.
With practice and feedback, you'll learn to pause confidently instead of filling silence with unnecessary sounds.
