I have a PET scan coming up. A little nervous. I am a RN and don’t trust Big Pharma and most Physicians. Thank you Dr Makis!!

They put me on hormone blockers which made me feel awful and KISQALI which gave me horrible body pain and decreased my WBC count to a dangerous level. How can I fight this when you wipe out my immune system?

@MakisMedicine @FLSurgeonGen As a stage 4 cancer patient and a home health RN this story infuriates me! She should have never been denied pain meds. If they were changing the wound vac dressing 3 xs per week like you are supposed to that would not have happened. The system failed her in every way!
