@AliceFromQueens@DerekPederson3 My toddlers were forced to wear masks for two years at daycare and they hated it. The data show it accomplished nothing.
@avidseries I agree with you most of the time. I was center left but got disillusioned during covid. Now I'm an irascible centrist I guess. That means center on average on individual points I vascillate between left and right. I'm a petroleum engineering manager who backcountry skis a ton.
@newstart_2024 In the moment, for me, I alternate between intense purpose and pride, in that purpose, and fun and warmth and laughter but also fairly often intense fatigue, pressure, and boredom and irritability and anger. I have kids at 10 and 8 and 4, and it is visceral intense living 10/10.
@kevinnbass You're right, but you don't understand how a leader can take the wheel. Trump is the barbarian takeover that shows us we need a leader. Let's see if one steps up.
@jbarro People refuse to see what's in front of their face and perform analysis driven by motivated reasoning. If someone agrees with such a take they run with it without vetting it in the way they would if they disagreed with it.
@lymanstoneky Nah. I've got 3 kids and my hobbies are outdoor sports. If I don't average at least an hour a day between bc skiing, biking, hiking, and trail running I'll be a bad dad. I'm not a slacker on the domestic front and do most of my families food and laundry and my family gets a guide
@CartoonsHateHer It's just because we have too much crap. Between grandparents and birthday parties It's hard to fight the accumulation of toys. Maybe annoying, but so is your "kids" gift.
@LizzyStarrrdust I think it's a little rare but not unusual. I'm like this and my wife is like this. It's hard to find the alone time when you're a parent.
@phl43 I would not trade Salt Lake City for any European city. It just depends on where you are. On average, Europe is better with the same income but that's a big caveat. It's better to be above average in America and below average in Europe.
@Frankthesc56146@WokeDon@MRWahdy@devontenakamoto@Noahpinion 1.7% comes from a ridiculously expansive definition of intersex that has nothing to do with chromosonal abnormalities. If you use chromosonal sex not aligning with phenotype sex as the true not recently made-up definition of intersex the number is 100X lower than 1.7%.
@Frankthesc56146@WokeDon@MRWahdy@devontenakamoto@Noahpinion Intersex cases are extremely rare edge cases that deserve exceptions. The argument is over if obvious males with penises who identify as a women should be allowed in women's bathrooms. The answer for a huge majority of the country is that it is immoral to allow this.
